Sources at component makers told DigiTimes that Samsung has a chance to surpass Asus in netbook shipments in 2010:
Despite that some of Samsung's component partners expect the company to ship only seven million notebooks in total in 2010, others believe the company will be able to ship more than 10 million units, of which 7-8 million units will be netbooks.

As Asustek Computer only aims to ship six million Eee PCs in 2010, Samsung will stand a chance of becoming the second largest netbook vendor, next only to Acer, the sources noted.
