Posted on Thursday, December 31 2009 @ 11:35:16 CET by

CyberPower has introduced an updated version of its Black Mamba gaming PC:
The Black Mamba, the cornerstone of the Fang Series, underwent a complete re-design from the ground up to include a monstrous chassis, custom water cooling solution, and DX11 ready hardware. The new Black Mamba is enhanced, advanced and evolved.

The enhancements begin in the outer layer. The Black Mamba gets an all new enclosure to house all the powerful hardware it possesses. CyberPower selectively chose the Corsair Obsidian 800D chassis for its rugged steel frame construction and superior expansion capabilities. The Obsidian chassis is also built to last through years of component upgrades.

The heart of the new evolved beast lies in its innards. The Black Mamba is equipped with CyberPower’s all new Xtreme Hydro custom cooling kit. The Xtreme Hydro Cooling kit provides maximum cooling to the CPU. The cooling doesn’t stop there. The Xtreme Hydro Cooling kit extends to your video cards to provide the best temperatures while drastically reducing noise levels.

The Black Mamba also features the latest Intel Core i7 Extreme Processor on its high end X58 platform, the ultimate combination for performance and overclocking. The Black Mamba incorporates the latest special BIOS that allows for improved overclocking and support for the latest Intel i7 processors; even the Gulftown that will be released later this year. Providing the graphics processing power is a pair of ATI’s highly touted Radeon 5870 graphics cards, which deliver DirectX 11 gaming experience. The Radeon 5870s in crossfire will churn through all the latest gaming titles with ease and give you smooth, life-like game play.

Black Mamba peripheral and storage includes a Blu-Ray DVD player and DVD burner. A 2 terabyte SATA II hard drive and a pair of RAID-0 ready 64 GB Kingston Solid State Drives give you blazing fast loading times. A set of Razer Lachesis and Lycosa input devices are included to get your game on. A 12-in-1 card reader is also included for convenient file uploading and transferring. Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit is pre-loaded.
