MSI debuts four X-Slim series laptops at CES

MSI has introduced four new X-Slim series laptops at CES; the 13" X350, X360, 14" X420 and 15.6" X600Pro. All four models are based on Intel's CULV platform.
iF Design Award Honors; The X620 Debuts at CES 2010 The MSI X-Slim Series new large-sized 15.6" models with ultra-thin CULV dual core processors, the X620 and X600Pro, both feature 16:9 cinematic LED backlit displays, and support for HD output. With a built in ATi Mobility Radeon HD Discrete graphics card, the new generation X620 also features the unique 3D Boost button. One push of this button will switch the notebook to single display mode, instantly increasing display performance. The X620 is a perfect integration of performance, beauty, ultra-thin design and audio/video entertainment. What's more, the X-Slim Series large-screen 15.6" models have high endurance battery life, giving the X620 with built-in optical drive a battery life of up to 10 hours!

The X-Slim X620, proud winner of the German iF Product Design Award, will make its debut at CES 2010. Especially equipped with a 2-Spindle optical drive, the X620 has a smooth and attractive ultra-thin body design. Including its 8-cell battery, total weight is only about 2.4kg. The exterior features a smooth and unassuming design. Hand placement areas have been treated with a specially designed material, and all four sides of the frame feature special metal inlays that give it a high tech feel. In addition, MSI's Chiclet keyboard has smooth contours and a simple, graceful styling.

X-Slim X350 & X360: Ultra-thin Brilliance Hits the Stage
The MSI X-Slim Series 13.4" notebooks, the X350 and X360, will once again raise the MSI X-Slim Series to the summit of stylish technology at CES 2010.

The X350 and X360 models weigh only 1.5kg and are under one-inch thick. With MSI's exclusive ECO Engine technology and the Intel CULV platform's light and economical performance, this notebook model has a battery life of up to 9 hours. The exterior of the X-Slim is based on an elegant foundation, with the cover and the hand placement areas embellished with MSI's exclusive and stylish geometric patterns that combine shaped-lines and diamond pattern printing to create a dazzling and glittering appearance. All four sides feature a high tech metal inlay in the frame, integrating its glimmering sliver luster with the chrome-plated power button, LED indicator light group, touch pad frame and MSI's distinctive Chiclet keyboard to create a harmony in anticipation of the golden ratio of upcoming fashion trends.

The Urban Trendy 14" X420 with WiMAX & 3.5G: Unlimited Gaming
The all-new 14" X-Slim ultra-thin model continues with lively, urban, and mobile characteristics and even more tasteful characteristics. An exquisite feel and fashionable design elements are cleverly applied via MSI's Color Film Print technology—adding a cappuccino brown color and adopting MSI's distinctive Chiclet keyboard give both the exterior and interior a comprehensive upgrade that will make a stylish statement at next year's CES. The new generation X420 is specially equipped with the ATi Mobility Radeon HD 5430 discrete graphics card with 1GB DDR3 VRAM, Intel's Core 2 Duo processor, and MSI's exclusive 3D Boost technology for outstanding display and processing technology and a battery life of up to 9 hours.
