ASUS reveals custom Radeon HD 5850 DirectCU

Asus will soon release a custom-design Radeon HD 5850 graphics card with the DirectCU cooler, this cooling solution promises 20 percent lower temperatures than the stock cooler, while cutting noise production by 35 percent as well. The DirectCU cooler utilizes two 8mm heatpipes that make direct contact with the GPU, you can expect this card by the end of the month.



Another new card is the Radeon HD 5870 TOP edition, this model will features slightly higher clockspeeds than the reference model. Availability is expected by early March 2010.
