FUD Zilla visited Sapphire at CeBIT and spotted an upcoming Radeon HD 5970 graphics card with 4GB GDDR5 memory. The card is overclocked and has an Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme cooling solution with a big heatsink and three fans. The GPUs are overclocked to 850MHz, while the memory is clocked at 4800MHz, which should be good enough for a 22K score in 3DMark Vantage Performance. The back of the card reveals two dual-link DVI outputs and one mini DisplayPort output.
Only a couple of AMD partners might introduce HD 5970 4GB card, but as far as we know Sapphire is the only one to provide this card with 2x8-pin power connectors, and not with 2x8-pin plus one 6-pin connector.
