Dutch tech site Tweakers visited Cooler Master at CeBIT and saw the upcoming Silent Pro Gold 80G power supplies. As the name suggests, these units will have 80Plus Gold certification, which means they deliver an efficiency of at least 92 percent at 50 percent load, and at least 88 percent efficiency at lower of higher loads.

There will be six Silent Pro Gold 80G power supplies, with wattages between 600W and 1200W. All models feature modular cables, the 1000W and 1200W models feature a 135mm fan, while the less powerful units use a 120mm fan.

Cooler Master explains they've achieved 80Plus Gold rating by using a hybrid transformer, and by making improvements to the cooling.
