BCC Hardware published some coverage of the new products at Gigabyte's CeBIT booth. This includes the EB10 eBook reader, this device features a 6" PVI e-Ink display with 800 x 600 pixel resolution, Samsung 6410 (667MHz) processor, 128MB NAND flash + 128MB SDRAM, and a 1000mAh li-ion battery. This device will be marketed to OEMs and is compatible with Windows CE, Linux and Android.
The other interesting thing we noticed over at the Gigabyte booth was the new EB10 eBook Reader. While there are more eBook readers on the market that there really needs to be, Gigabyte has taken an interesting approach and made their Windows CE, Linux and Android compatible. This allows OEMs to come in and do whatever they want with the actual hardware. This is a great idea and you could certainly see Gigabyte made eBook readers re-branded to a lot of other devices in the near future.
