GeForce GTX 480 rumoured to have 300W TDP

FUD Zilla claims several sources close to NVIDIA revealed that the GeForce GTX 480 will have a TDP of around 300W, and that the GeForce GTX 470 might end up around 220W.

We managed to find out that the GTX 480 TDP should be quite close to 300W. Although it has been rumoured before, we have heard it from couple of sources, all close to Nvidia.

The new info is that the GTX 470 might end up with a TDP of around 220W but it is still unclear what Nvidia did to spare 80 Watts. If this info is correct than the GTX 470 might end up with two 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors but we guess that Nvidia might go for the same design as on the GTX 480 just to be on the safe side.
