Bright Side of News met with AMD at CeBIT and heard the company plans to introduce four new platforms in May 2010, you can read all about it over here.
In order to back the focus up, Leslie told us that for the first time in ages, AMD is executing product launches like clockwork and that the company's internal restructuring in 2009 starting to bring in results. For instance, AMD is not done with introducing the members of its Evergreen GPU family of products, with ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity6 and the overclocked HD 5970 [which we dubbed "HD5990"] coming in March, new CPUs will be introduced across the product portfolio, starting with 8 and 12-core Magny-Cours processors [do note that in some cases, 8-core models will be 12-core Magny-Cours models with 2 cores per die disabled] on the commercial side [Opteron], while there is a sea of new dual-, triple-, quad- and sexa-core processors are coming to consumer market.

Coming to consumer side of things, AMD will introduce no less than four new platforms: two for desktops, two for notebooks, all launching in May 2010.
