Posted on Friday, March 05 2010 @ 16:32:07 CET by

Acer CEO Gianfranco Lanci told investors that his company will roll out Intel Calpella based laptops by the end of March 2010:
Acer will definitely launch Intel Calpella platform-based notebooks at the end of March 2010, company CEO Gianfranco Lanci confirmed at its most recent investors conference.

The Calpella-based notebooks, which will be powered by Intel's Core i-series CPUs, will perform better than the previous SU-series processors, while maintaining the long battery life (up to eight hours) of previous ultra-thin models, Lanci said.
