Microsoft to delay CRM 2.0 to end of the year

Microsoft said it is going to delay version 2 of its CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software from March to the last three months of this year - mainly because users have requested more features and functionality.
Microsoft CRM debuted in 2003 and has 3,500 customers so far, Wilson said. Microsoft's CRM competes against other CRM software providers with bigger shares of that market, such as Siebel Systems Inc., Oracle, Germany's SAP AG and Salesforce.com Inc.
