Patriot Memory announced Bolt, a new USB flash drive with 256-bit AES encryption. The device has an aluminium enclosure and offers read speeds of up to 30MB/s but write speeds of only 12MB/s. It should be available soon, with capacities from 4GB to 64GB.

Patriot’s Bolt series features hardware based 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a 512/2048-bit RSA engine for user authentication.
