Later this month, AMD will be releasing their most important product in 2010 - the enthusiast 890FX chipset and Phenom II X6 processor. AMD 890FX chipset, codenamed RD890 accompanied by HyperTransport 3.0 and South Bridge SB850, which provides native support for SATA 6.0 Gbps.

According to AMD official announcement earlier that SB850 does not support ACC function; but BIOSTAR “BIO-unlocKING” technology breakthrough the limitation and provides the flexibility to unlock extra core(s) achieving much greater performance with lower cost. “BIO-unlocKING” technology is available on every BIOSTAR 8xx series motherboard.
