TweakTown reports Romanian overclocked matose has overclocked Corsair's Dominator GTX1 DDR3 memory to a whopping 2906MHz with the help of some dry ice, after taking it to 2666MHz first with nothing but air cooling.
However, in typical pro overclocker fashion, he wasn't satisfied there and decided to take things to the next level. It was time to strap some dry ice to the platform and see how far the ceiling could rise with the modules, if much at all.

Thankfully, it certainly turned out worthwhile with an incredible CPU-Z validated clock rate of 2906MHz, showing just what kind of headroom these highly impressive modules have in reserve when in the right hands.
