Netbooks to get Wireless display support in 2011

Posted on Friday, April 23 2010 @ 09:00:04 CEST by

FUD Zilla reports Intel's 2011 Cedar-Trail M Atom platform will feature Intel Wireless display 2.0 with 1080p support:
Cedar-Trail M solves this problem and aside from better video playback capability it is planned that this platform will feature Intel Wireless display 2.0 with 1080p support. The first generation of Intel Wireless display is now available with a few Calpella notebooks and it works like a charm. It is limited to 720p, but the 2.0 version for both notebooks and netbooks will support 1080p.

Cedar-Trail M based netbooks should bet Intel Wireless display 2.0 with 1080p support in the second half of 2011, or immediately at launch, and having a streamed HD video on your TV via Air only with a touch of a button, is quite impressive thing.
