AMD six-core Phenom II X6 chips are shipping

TC Mag reports AMD's Phenom II X6 1055T and X6 1090T Black Edition processors have hit retail stores. The official launch of these six-core processors is expected later this week.
Both manufactured on 45nm technology, the new six-core chips come in an AM3 package, have 3MB L2 and 6MB (shared) L3 cache, a TDP of 125W, an integrated dual channel DDR3 memory controller and support the Turbo CORE technology which enables automatic overclocking on up to three cores for extra performance in less threaded apps.

Clocked at 2.8 GHz, the Phenom II X6 1055T can be found priced at 199 Euro / $222.29, while the 3.2 GHz X6 1090T, which also has an unlocked multiplier, costs 310 Euro.
