3dfx Voodoo 5 5500 with 1.5kg cooler (pictures)

German tech site PC Games Hardware takes you back to the early days of 3D graphics card with some photos of a 3dfx Voodoo 5 5500 graphics card with an extreme cooling mod that involves two Pentium 3 coolers and some heavy-duty fans. With these coolers the card weighs a whopping 1.5kg, but modder Sentionline007 says the fans are pretty quiet at 9V and that they're capable of bringing the card near room temperature at 12V, although that's considerably louder.
