Sparkle has presented 1000W and 1250W power supplies with 80Plus Gold rating, this means these units have an efficiency of at least 87 percent at 20 percent and full load, and at least 90 percent efficiency at 50 percent load. These PSUs feature six +12V rails and are cooled by a large 139mm fan. Both units are backed by a 5-year warranty and, for a limited time, the company will bundle the PSUs with three games: H.A.W.X., Brothers in Arms - Road to Hill 30 and Brothers in Arms - Hell's Highway.
Providing 1250W and 1000W of continuous power, Sparkle's Gold Class PSUs comply with the ATX12V and EPS12V standards, have an active PFC (power factor corrector), dual layer (2.0mm thick) main PCBs, six 12V rails, and are cooled off by a thermally-controlled 13.9cm dual ball bearing fan that will function up to 10 seconds after shut down to dissipate the remaining heat from the system.

"Sparkle is known for manufacturing high-value performance graphics cards," said Jerry Lin, VP of US Operations. "We give you more 'bang for the buck' than any other graphics card, an d we have extended this value proposition to our new line of power supplies. The Gold Class series starts at an amazingly low $200s for a 1250W or 1000W power supply, something that typically starts in the $300 range."
