Galaxy started shipping the GeForce GTX 470 GC, the first graphics card with a flip fan with blue LED. This model features a 625MHz core (607MHz stock), 1250MHz shaders (1215MHz stock) and 1280MB GDDR5 memory clocked at 3348MHz.
Galaxy Microsystems Ltd. a leading global manufacturer of graphics accelerators, today announced the immediate availability of the new Galaxy GeForce GTX 470 GC factory overclocked graphics card featuring new flip fan cooling technology.

“We have created a fan solution for the GTX 470 GC that not only provides better cooling but also offers a reduction in noise over the reference boards that other companies are shipping today” said Shane Vance, US Sales for Galaxy. “The ability for the user to lift the fan for cleaning also ensures better performance and product longevity”.
