TC Mag spotted Intel will start migrating its new 32nm desktop processors to K-0 stepping on July 5th. The Core i3-530, i3-540, i5-650, i5-660, i5-661 and i5-670 will be the first chips to receive the new stepping, while the Pentium G6950 will follow on August 23rd.
The K-0 chips are pin compatible with C2 CPUs and require a BIOS update to work properly as they come with the following changes:

- New S-spec and MM numbers for the converting products
- Extended CPUID will change from 0x00020652 to 0x00020655
- Host RevID will change from 0x12 to 0x18
- Adds Processor Context ID (PCID) support
