Acer chairman JT Wang believes the European bond crisis is not as bad as most market watchers believe. Wang does not expect the crisis will have an impact on Acer's second-quarter financial results, as the company sees market demand in Europe remaining stable.
Wang expects Acer's second-quarter notebook shipments to stay flat sequentially and the company still sees market demand in Europe remaining stable.

Wang noted that the financial crisis in Europe is already solved as members of the European Union (EU) have already reached an agreement to bail out countries that are having bond issues. He does not expect the crisis to create any impact for the next three years, and the only problem to remain is market confidence.
