NVIDIA: Tegra tablets feature Advanced 3D, CUDA and PhysX

X-bit Labs reports NVIDIA will soon be able to show off why Tegra is better than its rivals.
"PCs have been the seat of entertainment innovation for decades. But they have always had limited mobility. Tegra is now leading the way with mobilizing the full web experience and full HD content that were only possible on high-end PCs just a few years ago. Tegra differentiators today include the first dual-core CPU for mobile applications, 1080p HD capabilities, and console-style game support,” said Bill Henry, director of Tegra products at Nvidia.

...

“Nvidia is the only company in the mobile industry with the experience and IP to bring the most advanced 3D, CUDA and PhysX capabilities to market, but these things do take time. Stay tuned,” said Mr. Henry.

What on earth does a "tablet" need Physx for? Not only is a product in need of a reason to exist, but to then think something like this should go into a tablet is just a crazy waste of resources.
