Enermax 87++ PSU promises 92 percent efficiency

Hexus saw a prototype of Enermax's 87++, a new modular power supply that promises an energy efficiency of 92 percent.
The 87++, as one might naturally deduce, goes beyond that by providing 92% efficiency, Enermax claims, thus taking it to a level that far exceeds current PSU efficiency ratings. That's awfully efficient, so we must wonder what tricks they've used to produce a unit that can waste so little energy. We might in fact be left wondering forever, as we understand it's not yet decided whether the PSU will make it into production.
