G.Skill shows off Phoenix Pro SSD

TC Mag reports G.Skill showed off its Phoenix Pro solid state disk at Computex, this new 2.5" disk features the SandForce SF-1200 controller and uses a SATA 3Gbps interface. The G.Skill Phoenix Pro promises read speeds of up to 285MB/s, write speeds of up to 275MB/s, and random 4KB write performance of 50,000 IOPS.
Expected to make its retail debut this month,the Phoenix Pro SSDs have a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash memory chips, TRIM support, maximum read and write speeds of 285 MB/s and 275 MB/s, respectively, and random 4KB writing performance of up and over 50,000 IOPS.

G.Skill's new SSD line is confirmed to include a 120GB model, with 60GB and 240GB versions likely also in plan.
