ASUS Eee PC 1201K uses AMD Geode NX1750 processor

ASUS released the Eee PC 1201K, a new 12.1" netbook with a pretty weird choice of hardware. Even though AMD axed its Geode processor lineup, this new netbook incorporates the AMD Geode NX1750, a nearly five years old 1.4GHz processor with a 14W TDP. The 1.46kg system also features the SiS741GX / SiS966L chipsets, 1GB DDR1 memory, 160GB HDD (250/320GB are optional), a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Windows XP Home, a 6-cell battery, 0.3MP digicam, and a memory card reader.

Performance is likely not that great and after reading that the system has a battery life of only two hours I'm wondering why ASUS even bothered to release this netbook. This better be dirt cheap.
