OCZ RevoDrive PCIe SSD delivers 80,000 IOPS

OCZ announced the RevoDrive PCI Express SSD, claiming this product is world's fastest consumer solid state disk. The RevoDrive promises read speeds of up to 540MB/s, write speeds of up to 480MB/s, sustained write speeds of up to 400MB/s and random 4KB write performance of up to 80,000 IOPS.

This new PCIe SSD is backed by a three-year warranty and has a MTBF rating of 2,000,000 hours. OCZ will ship the RevoDrive in 120GB and 240GB capacities for $389.99 and $699.99, respectively.
