ThermalTake announced the ITBU CLS0016, a passive cooling solution for AMD Socket G34 server processors. The heatsink features a copper base, four 6mm heatpipes and an aluminium fin array. The cooler is mounted with spring-screws, it measures 115mm x 80.5mm x 35mm (L x W x H) and weighs 430.4g.
Thermaltake ITBU proudly presents a new thermal solution for AMD socket G34 140W server CPU, CLS0016. CLS0016 is equipped copper base and aluminum stacked fin array, and enhance the thermal performance by four pieces of heat pipe; the high density aluminum stacked fin array provides good fin efficiency and more surface area for heat dissipation, and the heat pipes transfer the heat from base to the top of fins, to increase the fin efficiency. The pre-applied thermal grease is convenient for installation; and the spring/screw with back plate design provides robust fixing with board during shipping. CLS0016 is a passive design for 2U rack mount server. By combining the air flow from the system fan, CLS0016 is a suitable solution with excellent thermal performance for AMD socket G34 2U server system.
