TC Mag reports Buffalo added a new 256GB SSD to its lineup for those who still use the PATA interface. This 2.5" model uses MLC NAND flash memory, it has 64MB cache, USB 2.0 connectivity and performance of up to 101MB/s. Pricing is pretty high though.
The upcoming drive includes both PATA and USB 2.0 connection options, has 64MB of cache, is capable of transfer speeds of up to 101 MB/s and is set to go on sale @ $1,220. We'll take a rain check on buying this one.
