Microsoft released the first mobile edition of Silverlight. Oddly enough the company didn't release it for Windows Mobile first, but decided to give priority to some Symbian S60v5 phones like Nokia's 5800 XpressMusic, N97 and N97 Mini. Users of these smartphones can download Silverlight through Nokia's Ovi Store.
Silverlight, a cross-browser, cross-platform implementation of the .NET Framework for building media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web on desktop computers, is also available for Nokia S60 5th Edition devices such as Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia N97 and Nokia N97 Mini.
