DigiTimes heard Asustek chairman Jonney Shih recently send an internal note to his employees to boost morale:

Asustek Computer chairman Jonney Shih recently sent an internal note to the company's employees to strengthen team morale as the company has been impacted by rumors president and CEO Jerry Shen will resign, according to sources from notebook players.

In the note, Shih noted that Shen led the team that confronted Europe's bond crisis and successfully minimized its impact. Therefore, Shen has deep support and will not leave his post.
