FUD Zilla writes OCZ will soon add 3.5" Vertex 2 and Agility 2 solid state disks to its product lineup. The main advantage of these disks is that they'll fit in the standard HDD cages of your case, other than that the specifications are exactly the same as the 2.5" counterparts.
Although these aren't announced yet, thanks to the tip from our sources we can share some info about these upcoming SSDs. Both Vertex 2 and Agility 2 3.5-inch SSDs will have the same specs as their 2.5-inch brethren, so you can expect speeds of up to 285MB/s for maximum write and 275MB/s for maximum read as well as 250MB/s for sustained write. The 4k random write figures ends up at 50,000 IOPS for both drives or at least for 120 and 240GB versions.

Both Vertex 2 and the Agility 2 3.5-inch SSDs will end up in three versions with 120, 240 and 480GB capacity and will feature SATA II 3.0Gbps interface.
