Web stats from NetMarketShare reveal Firefox has lost marketshare for the third month in a row and slipped under 23 percent, while Internet Explorer continues to recapture tidbits of marketshare after hitting a bottom at 59.75 percent in May 2010. Google Chrome's growth seems to be stagnating a bit around 7 percent, while Safari climbed over the five percent barrier for the first time this year.
“This is the second month in a row of global gains for Internet Explorer and the third straight month of gains for Internet Explorer 8 in the United States. The gain comes at the expense of Firefox (-.9%) and Chrome (-.08%),” said NetMarketShare.
