The UMPC product niche never really took off but that doesn't stop OQO from prepping a new 4.8-inch Model 03 device for the Chinese market. This unit with slide-out keyboard runs Windows 7 and has a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, it's powered by an Intel Atom Z500 series processor (1.2GHz, 1.6GHz, 1.86GHz or 2.0GHz) and is equipped with a 32/64/128GB SSD, Intel GMA 500 integrated graphics, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, 3G, plus USB and HDMI ports.

The biggest problem is the pricing though, there are four configurations, priced from 12,999 yuan (~$1,919) to 31,888 yuan (~$4,707).
The upcoming mobile device measures 14.32 x 8.42 x 2.78 cm, weights 426 grams, and has a 4.8-inch (1024 x 600) display, a 1.2, 1.6, 1.86 or 2.0 GHz Atom Z500 series processor, 1/2GB of RAM, a 32/64/128GB solid state drive, GMA 500 integrated graphics, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and 3G, plus USB and HDMI ports.
