MSI officially introduced the watercooled GeForce GTX 480 Hydrogen:
Internationally renowned mainboard and graphics card manufacturer MSI announces the brand new MSI N480GTX HydroGen graphics card equipped with an all copper liquid cooling block and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 GPU. The HydroGen liquid cooling block is made of pure copper and designed with micro-channels which accelerate the liquid flow speed to quickly dissipate the heat from the GPU. Compared to the reference thermal design of the GTX480, HydroGen can effectively reduce GPU temperature by up to 24℃ and ensures a silent work environment. Additionally, the MSI N480GTX HydroGen supports GPU Overvoltage through MSI’s unique overclocking utility Afterburner and remains highly stable through the use of Military Class Components.

The HydroGen water block of the MSI N480GTX HydroGen is a large all-copper cooling solution covering 70% of the N480GTX and the most important parts of your graphics card: the GPU, Memory and Voltage Regulation Modules. The heat dissipating ability of the HydroGen liquid-cooling design surpasses a general active fan thermal design. In addition, there are 0.45mm wide micro-channels over the GPU area. Because fluids in a narrow channel move at a higher velocity than those in a wider channel, the heat of GPU can be dissipated at a higher rate and OC enthusiasts can enjoy improved overclocks. With MSI’s N480GTX HydroGen you don’t have to worry about air-flow when assembling a 3-Way SLI system. There is an auxiliary device adopted on the back of the graphics card to prevent the card from bending by the weight of the water block.
