Toshiba preps 10-inch Android tablet with Tegra 2

Toshiba is developing a 10" tablet with NVIDIA's Tegra 2 SoC and Google's Android operating system, this device is expected to be available in September or October. According to DigiTimes, the company aims to ship about 40,000 to 50,000 of these tablets during the remainder of 2010.
Meanwhile, most other first-tier brands will launch tablet PCs by the end of 2010 or early 2011. Acer is set to launch its Qualcomm CPU with Android model by the end of 2010, while Lenovo is also set to launch its first tablet PC (LePad) by the end of 2010, focusing mainly on the China market, while Asustek's Eee Pad will not be ready until March 2011. However, Hewlett-Packard (HP) is expected to launch an Android/ARM tablet PC that it will bundle with a printer in September.
