Google Gmail hits 1 million calls on first day

Google announced on Twitter that users have made over 1 million calls in the first 24 hours since free voice calling was added to Gmail:

Over 1,000,000 calls placed from Gmail in just 24 hours! Thanks to everyone using this new feature
