Noiseblocker MultiFrame fans get sleeve ring to boost performance

TC Mag received word that Noiseblocker has updated its 80mm and 120mm MultiFrame series case fans to include a sleeving ring that closes up the zones around the exterior of the fan through which air could slip through. According to the firm, this seal ring enhances the cooling performance, without having an impact on the noise output. These new fans are available in Europe at the same price as their non-sealed predecessors.
Cooling solution provide Noiseblocker has announced an update or upgrade to its MultiFrame series of case fans that is supposed to make them a bit more efficient and better suited for use in watercooling setups.

The update consists in the use of a sleeving ring that basically closes up the zones around the exterior of the fan through which air could slip through. The seal adds a bit to the performance delivered but doesn't affect the sound output.
