Micro-Star International (MSI) plans to launch ruggedized motherboards and graphics cards for the high-end segment. Meanwhile, the company has reported revenues of NT$6.51 billion (US$203.72 million) for August, down 0.47% sequentially.

As for motherboard and graphics card shipments in the fourth quarter, MSI said that current visibility is still unclear, but order volumes already started to pick up from late July.

MSI also noted that demand in the US has been steady since early in the year, but demand in Europe has been far off its expectations. However, demand in Europe is starting to recover in the third quarter.
