DigiTimes reports Acer plans to introduce more smart TV products in 2011:
Acer is expected to launch more products for the smart TV segment in 2011 following the debut of its Revo 2 set-top box (STB) at IDF. The Revo 2 boasts an Intel CE4100 processor running Windows Media Center Embedded.

The move to the large-size panel segment is in line with Acer's strategy after the company has already launched smartphones, tablet PCs, monitors and all in one PCs, according to industry sources.

Acer actually displayed a number of TV models with sizes ranging from 32- to 42-inches at the recently concluded IFA trade show, and has also started to launch LED TVs, the sources added.
