AMD adds six Athlon II and Phenom II chips

The really exciting stuff from AMD is still a couple of months away from us, but in the meantime the company has released six new chips in its Athlon II and Phenom II lineups.

The Phenom II X6 1075T is the only new six-core part, this $239 part is clocked at 3.0GHz and features a 3.5GHz Turbo, 512KB L2 cache, 6MB L3 and a 125W TDP.

Another part with a 125W TDP is the quad-core Deneb-based Phenom II X4 970 BE, this $179 chip is clocked at 3.5GHz and has 512KB L2 and 6MB L3 cache, while the $99 Phenom II X2 560 BE is a dual-core 3.3GHz chip with 512KB L2, 6MB L3 and a TDP of 80W.

The company also introduced three new Atlon II processors, including the $74 dual-core Athlon II X2 265 with 3.3GHz clockspeed, 1MB L2 and 65W TDP, the triple-core Athlon II X3 450 for $84 with 3.2HGHz clockspeed, 512KB L2 and 95W TDP, as well as the quad-core Athlon II X4 645 with 3.1GHz frequency, 512KB L2, 95W TDP and a $119 price tag.
