Google Chrome 8 to get built-in instant search

While the next major release of Google's Chrome browser will be about hardware acceleration, the version that follows thereafter will introduce support for the company's new instant search feature:
As much as Microsoft may have missed an opportunity to integrate Bing much more into its IE9 Beta browser, it is Google that is capitalizing on its Instant search feature. We previously outlined this new feature in an article stating that Google may actually eliminate the need to visit its homepage in future and enable users to jump into search results right away simply by typing a search phrase into the URL bar – which will bring up a search results page “instantly”.

This feature is already live, but has to be activated with an executable switch: -enable-match-preview
