Posted on Thursday, September 23 2010 @ 15:33:07 CEST by

Michael Dell showed off an upcoming 7" Android tablet at Oracle's annual conference in San Francisco. He didn't share any specific details about the device, but did confirm that the 5" Streak is heading to Best Buy in October.

Initial sales of the Streak were interesting and exciting, but immaterial to Dell's $60 billion in revenue, Dell said. Additionally, he also revealed that the company's overall business would likely grow 20 percent in the current quarter.
Dell also said his company's overall business would likely grow 20% in the current quarter, although he didn't specify how that growth was measured. A Dell spokesman could not immediately clarify or elaborate on Dell's comment.

The Streak's impact on Dell's financial performance is expected to be muted. Shortly after its debut, Dell said initial sales were "interesting, exciting, but immaterial to Dell's $60 billion in revenue."
