Toshiba Tegra 2 netbook appears in Austria

FUD Zilla notices that Austrian retailer Metro is now selling a netbook from Toshiba that is based on NVIDIA's Tegra 2 platform. The Toshiba AC100-10K system has a 10.1" WSVGA (1024 x 600 pixel) LED-backlit screen, NVIDIA Tegra 250 processor, 512MB DDR2 (533MHz), and Google Android 2.1 operating system with Toshiba Home Menu software. Additionally, a quick Google search reveals the system also has a 8GB SSD, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, SD memory card slot, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI, and a 1.3MP webcam The netbook promises a standby battery life of up to 7 days and has a 1-year warranty. Pricing is just under 300EUR.
