ASUS introduced the Eee PC 1015PN, a new netbook with Intel's dual-core Atom N550 processor and NVIDIA's ION2 graphics solution.
ASUS today announces the launch of the ASUS Eee PC™ 1015PN Multimedia Netbook. This new netbook delivers an excellent multimedia experience by way of a dual core Intel® Atom™ N550 processor and next generation NVIDIA® ION™ discrete graphics.

Delivering a Multimedia Netbook Experience
The Eee PC™ 1015PN’s Intel® Atom™ N550 dual-core processor makes it up to 23% faster than single-core Intel® Atom™ N455 netbooks in PCMark05 benchmark tests. Its next generation NVIDIA® ION™ discrete graphics processor comes with 512MB VRAM and SO-DIMM 1GB DDRII memory (upgradable to 2GB).

And if its 10.1-inch display is not enough, the 1015PN supports Full HD 1080p video playback on an HDTV or projector via an HDMI output port. It comes with a 250GB that is further supplemented by 500GB of online space with ASUS WebStorage.

The Promise of All-day Computing
ASUS Super Hybrid Engine power management technology, along with NVIDIA® OPTIMUS™* technology that automatically helps detect system requirements and activates the discrete graphics processor, help the Eee PC™ 1015PN deliver on its promise of all-day computing. These technologies combine to deliver a battery life of up to 10 hours.

*only supported with Home Premium edition

A Multitude of Connectivity Options
The Eee PC™ 1015N comes packed with features designed to enhance an already exceptional multimedia experience. Bluetooth 3.0 lets users sync up with a myriad of digital devices at speeds that are 8x faster than that of Bluetooth 2.1. 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity gives users faster surfing speeds and higher throughput when compared to 802.11b/g standards.

Its webcam also has a camera covers for additional privacy.
