The Pentium D-based Aspire was mentioned on Monday during a keynote by Abhi Talwalkar, vice president and general manager of Intel's Digital Enterprise Group, at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in Taipei. Intel Pentium D to be planned for May

Acer said that it will launch an Aspire desktop PC with Intel's dual-core Pentium D processor in May. A spokeswoman for Acer said that the company plans to launch it in the second half of May, after Intel launches the Pentium D processor.
