Paul Otellini will become Intel's fifth CEO On May 18, taking over the throne of Craig Barrett.
"Otellini has gotten steeped in the technology for microprocessors. He's certainly much more technical in that area than I ever was (or) than Andy (Grove) ever was," said Moore, speaking to journalists in Europe from Hawaii.

"The fact that his education may not have been technical, I don't think is any disadvantage at all after some 30 years in the industry," he added.
