Posted on Friday, October 08 2010 @ 14:40:40 CEST by

Next week will be Microsoft's biggest Patch Tuesday yet, as the company will fix a total of 49 vulnerabilities with 16 security bulletins. The advance notification bulletin can be read over here.
The patches will collectively grapple with 49 vulnerabilities. The four critical bulletins impact all supported versions of Windows including Windows 7 and 2008R2.

One of the bulletins will offer a critical update for Internet Explorer, and needs to be applied to versions 6, 7 and 8.
