German tech site Heise claims NVIDIA will release a slower edition of the GeForce GTX 460 on November 15th. This new card will be known as the GeForce GTX 460 SE, it has 288 CUDA cores instead of 336 but the memory bandwidth is a bit higher as the new card uses 1GB GDDR5 and a 256-bit memory bus, compared to 768MB GDDR5 and 192-bit memory bus on the original GeForce GTX 460.

Additionally, the cards clockspeeds have been lowered from 670/1350/3600MHz (core/shaders/memory) to 650/1300/3400MHz.
