NVIDIA is working on another GF110-based graphics card that will be known as the GeForce GTX 570. FUD Zilla
reports this card will be released before the end of the year, although an exact launch date is still unknown. The GeForce GTX 570 should deliver similar or faster performance than the GeForce GTX 480 at a lower price point.
Geforce GTX 570 is the name and it is based on the same chip but instead of 512 shaders enabled, the new card has one cluster less and 480 shaders, like the GTX 480. We can do the math and tell you how many other parts you care about Nvidia cut out, but we will wait to see the specs before we jump the guns.
