MSI introduces the Homeplug ePower 1000HD, a set that contains two homeplug devices that enable you to create a network through the power grid in your home. The device promises a data transfer speed of up to 1000Mpbps and it works up to 200 meters. Interestingly, 128-bit AES encryption can be activated at the push of one button.
The well awarded MSI Homeplug 200AV kit now has a successor: The MSI Homeplug ePower 1000HD kit. This set, which contains two homeplug devices, will create a wired network through the user’s power grid. This will avoid data loss through wireless signals but also the cable mess which a wired network usually brings. It is the perfect combination.

Speed
Where most Homeplugs remain at the same speed level, MSI is willing to go the extra mile to meet customer demands. This new model is at least five times faster than most other power line adaptors; over 95% of all available models can reach up to a maximum of 200Mbps data transfer, while the MSI Homeplug 1000HD kit can manage up to an astonishing 1000Mbps speed! This is the perfect speed for streaming HD quality movies, playing online games or streaming live videos.

Secure
The MSI Homeplug is already a very safe device since the data is sent through the power grid instead of the air which makes it very difficult to intercept data. To ensure the user’s privacy even more though, MSI added 128 bit AES link encryption at the push of one button. This standard is used by the American government for their data encryption, proving that this is very secure and nearly impossible to bypass.

Ease of use
Not only is this a very secure product; it is also very easy to use. The user should just put the first homeplug in a power socket close to the router and the second in a power socket close to a device which needs a network. Just put the two bundled network cables between them and they work; no driver installation is needed and it is completely OS independent so no matter if the user has Windows, MAC or Linux, the MSI Homeplug always works.
